Dog Park and Food
Are you traveling across the country with your furry friend? Do you worry about where they’re going to do their business during a long ride? For all those reasons and more, we’ve established a dog park and food right here on our premises. We see it as one more way that we can make the journey better for all involved.
We know that you have the option to pull to the side of the road with your pet, but, we also understand how so many of our passengers are on tight deadlines. Thus, by having a dog park and food right here where you can count on them, that makes it easier for you to be able to plan your trip. Instead of multiple stops and starts, at random places along the roadside, everyone can get out, stretch their legs, and do what they need to all at the same time. Then, they can get back on the road and be able to get where they all want to go.
What our Dog Park Consists Of
Too many places that say they have a “dog park” don’t really have a “dog park,” exactly. Instead, they have a small patch of land, perhaps a bit of astroturf, something that looks more like a “spot” than a park. We do the opposite of that here.
Ours is an actual park. Sure, it isn’t exactly Yellowstone, but it’s a park where your dog can walk around, stretch their legs, and get a bit of exercise while also doing their business. Moreover, it’s more than large enough for multiple dogs to be there at the same time. That way, no one has to “wait their turn,” or be worried that too many dogs are going to be in too close of proximity, that kind of thing. Our park gives everyone involved enough space to be able to move around.
Quality Food for Your Pet
Beyond the dog park, we also make sure to include dog food at our park, too. Again, we wanted to do so much more than just the bare minimum for our visitors. Instead of just having the cheapest dog food imaginable available (and in small portions) we make sure to have top quality dog food. Your dog’s health is important.
We don’t believe that you should have to sacrifice your dog’s health just because you’re traveling. Thus, we see offering quality dog food as one more way that we can make the journey that much better.
On top of that, we make the dispenser easy to use, too. We know that so many of our visitors, be they human or canine, are in a hurry. They don’t have time to learn how to operate an entirely new device, get a degree in it, all that kind of thing. So, we make sure that our dispenser is simple to use. With just an easy to perform motion, you can have all of the dog food that your furry friend needs after a ride on the road.
In addition to making it easier on humans while they’re here, this makes it easier when traveling, too. This way, you don’t have to carry a whole bunch of dog food with you, nor do you have to give in to the temptation to give your pup a bunch of human food (no matter how much they may want it).
Well-Maintained
To make sure that all of this works, of course, we have it looked over by our staff. A dog area, with dog food and dog water, won’t be worth visiting if it’s poorly kept up. We know how, frankly, gross these can get if they aren’t watched over properly. We keep that from happening here.
At our truck stop, we have dedicated workers who make sure that the dog park looks and runs exactly as it should. That way, everything is clean enough for dogs and humans alike. Yes, dogs may not have the same sanitary standards that humans do, but our staff will keep the food and water full. We also clean up frequently, so that everyone can feel comfortable using our facilities. We know that by helping dogs, we’re helping their owners to travel, too.
