Easy On, Easy Off — I-5 Castaic, CA
Castaic Truck Stop sits right off Interstate 5, between the Parker Rd (Exit 176A) and Lake Hughes Rd (Exit 176B) exits, about 35 miles north of downtown Los Angeles and 80 miles south of Bakersfield. Headed north, we're the last full-service truck stop before the Grapevine grade. Headed south, we're the first stop coming down out of Tejon Pass. That makes us a natural place to fuel, eat and rest on the I-5 corridor between Los Angeles and Bakersfield.
Tractor-trailers, RVs and oversized loads get in and out easily. Take Exit 176A for Parker Rd or Exit 176B for Lake Hughes Rd; we're on Castaic Rd, between the two. Our 8 diesel dispensers have double-sided fueling lanes for the tanks on both sides of your truck. Diesel and DEF pumps are positioned for straight-pull-through access, so you can fuel up, grab a meal at Sam's BBQ & Grill, take a shower, and get back on the road without backing out of a tight spot.
Pyramid Lake, Castaic Lake State Recreation Area, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Santa Clarita and Valencia are all nearby. We're a regular stop for fleets running freight between the LA basin and Northern California or the Central Valley.
